Clinical Experience

I qualified from medical school in North of Iran in 2004 and three months later I moved to the United Kingdom –
London. After passing initial exams, I joined Forensic Psychiatry working with adults who had diagnosis of psychosis and/or personality disorder.

Following that experience I applied to join the training scheme as part of the Royal College of psychiatry programme. I completed my basic training at Wessex Deanery, where I worked in different specialties such as General Adult, Old Age, Prenatal and Eating Disorder.

In 2013 after working in a child & adolescent mental health service for a year I decided to continue my higher training in this field, and I was accepted at South London and Maudsley Trust. During my higher training I worked as part of a neurodevelopment psychiatric team, when I was specifically working with young people who had diagnosis of ADHD and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorders. I also have experience working with children with anxiety, low mood, school refusal
as well as many other conditions in children.

As a consultant I also had the opportunity to work in Northern and Southern Ireland.

My latest job was at Crisis team in one of the busiest sites in London which gave me invaluable experience in working with young people and their family who were dealing with crisis and emergency in psychiatry.

I hope my previous experience help me to provide an excellent care for my patients in psymplicity clinic.

When not working I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my gorgeous dog, Dream.
I also enjoy fashion, reading, writing, and doing sports.
