What is professional assessment like?
While you should always seek the most appropriate help during an acute or emergency mental health crisis, that doesn’t mean we can’t support you during such a difficult time and provide you with what you need to get back on track. Right now, you may feel helpless, hopeless and see nothing but tough times ahead, but our experts can help you walk the road towards a hugely improved quality of life.
During your assessment, a member of our specialist team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors will work with you to understand the root cause of the incident and develop a treatment approach tailored to you. Acute mental health emergencies can have a long-lasting impact, but we can help you manage your symptoms.
We can also refer you to the best treatment based on your needs. If you’re not sure who to reach out to, you can call Psymplicity 7 days a week and we will recommend a course of action, provide help and support and thoroughly explain what you can expect to happen next.
